Course Enrolment

Enrolment in a class can only be guaranteed after payment is received.

It is possible to defer a course in the first week of the term or one week prior to the commencement of the courses. Students who decide to defer a course must email Buongiorno, Italia by the end of week 1 of the term or one week prior to the commencement of the courses. They won’t be entitled to a refund. Students who defer from a course will be entitled to have a credit note that must be used in the next term or intensive course. The credit note won’t be refunded. 

Credit Notes can be arranged for students who, through extreme circumstances only, are forced to withdraw from classes in the first week of the term or one week before the commencement of an intensive course. No Credit Notes will be issued after this period. No credits are issued for missed classes. Credit Notes are not redeemable or refundable and must be used for the next term or intensive course only. After that time, they won’t be valid anymore.

Course payments can not be transferred to private lessons, conversation classes or workshops.

Due to the limited number of spaces available in each class, Buongiorno, Italia is unable to refund course payments.

Change of Class: If a student misses a class for any reason, they are able to attend another class during the same week depending on availability. If there is room in another class of the same level, we can arrange a catch up class. We will try our best to accommodate a change in class based on class availability. No more than one change will be given per term. We highly recommend students stay in the class they enrol in as not to create disruption to the other classmates and teachers.

Missed Class: We do not offer make-up classes, but will try to arrange a class for you to attend during the week of the missed class based on class size availability. 

Buongiorno, Italia reserves the right to cancel a class when there is insufficient enrolment. Before the new term starts, Buongiorno, Italia reserves the right to cancel any class that does not reach the minimum number of enrolments. In the event of a class being cancelled before the term starts, students can transfer to another class. Alternatively, a refund or credit note will be issued.

Public Holidays: Classes will not be held on QLD public holidays as the school will be closed. Buongiorno, Italia won’t offer a make-up class for missed classes on public holidays.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are confirmed and paid for no less than 24 hours before each lesson.
Students may postpone or cancel a lesson if a minimum of 24 hours notice is given.
Students have 12 months to complete pre purchased lessons.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are paid for prior to being allocated.
Vouchers can be mailed, emailed or posted after confirmation of payment has been received.
Vouchers are valid for 3 years from confirmation of payment.

Discounts

Any discounts given are valid until the due date of the related invoice.
